Article 1: Processing of personal data

Data controller

The website www.valorem-energie.com is published by VALOREM, a simplified joint stock company located at 213 cours Victor Hugo, 33130 Bègles, registered with the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number 395 388 739 (“Valorem”).

In order to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, VALOREM has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO ensures compliance with the rules governing the protection of your personal data. As such, he or she is the primary contact for anyone concerned by the collection or processing of personal data. It is through the DPO that you can exercise your right to access the information processed.

 

Categories of data and data subjects

“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (referred to as the “data subject”). An “identifiable natural person” is a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

When visiting the website www.valorem-energie.com (the “Website”), the following information about the Website user is collected:

  • the URL of the links through which the user accessed the Website, enabling the data controller to identify the website that originated the visit.
  • the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, which allows the data controller to determine the website’s audience.

  • enable the data controller to establish partnerships with other websites, where applicable.
  • improve the user experience on the Website;
  • enable the data controller to know the number of visits to the Website;

 

Legal basis

Personal data is processed on the basis of the legitimate interests of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) of European Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) – “processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller”).

 

Shelf life

The data collected is retained for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes, for example, the duration of subscription to the newsletter.

 

Storage conditions

Every precaution is taken to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data, in particular to prevent its loss, alteration, destruction or use by unauthorised third parties.

 

Data transfer

The information collected is not transferred outside the European Union.

 

Human rights

All users have the right to access, rectify, oppose, erase, restrict and transfer their personal data by submitting a written request accompanied by a copy of their identity document and specifying the address to which the data controller’s response should be sent.

Article 2: Cookies

Definition:
