VALOREM joins the first 100 companies in France to be awarded the Responsible Supplier Relations and Purchasing (RSRP) label
As a Mission Company since 2021, the VALOREM Group has kept its commitments and obtained this label, which meets objective 5 of its Mission roadmap: to develop balanced and sustainable relationships with its partners.
For several years, the Group has identified purchasing as a key element of its impact and its CSR approach. In 2022, the members of the Executive Committee signed the Responsible Purchasing charter, which was the first step towards defining VALOREM’s Responsible Purchasing policy in 2023. Thanks to the strong commitment of its teams, VALOREM was awarded the Responsible Purchasing and Supplier Relations (RFAR) label on 5 December 2023.
VALOREM first renewable energy company to obtain RFAR label
We are collectively very proud to become the first renewable energy company to obtain this label, which recognises companies that have demonstrated sustainable and balanced relationships with their suppliers. This label goes even further than the recommendations of the ISO 20400 standard in order to be as comprehensive as possible on good responsible purchasing practices, in line with the Group’s DNA and its commitments. With our pioneering spirit, it was very important for us to follow in the footsteps of other companies initiating this movement and pave the way for better purchasing practices. I would like to thank all our teams for their commitment, and in particular Véronique TALON, Group Purchasing Director, Serena MAMER Responsible Purchasing Officer and Virginie JOYEUX CSR Manager for the VALOREM Group, for this important achievement.
