VALOREM announces that registrations are open for the Vlasti Wind Trail in Greece
VALOREM Group announces that registrations are now open for the Vlasti Wind Trail 2026, a mountain running celebration taking place in Vlasti, Kozani, on Sunday, 7 June 2026.
Set in a striking natural landscape along the area’s mountain trails and close to the “ANATOLIKO ASKIO – MAGOULA” wind farm, runners will enjoy an experience that blends sport, nature and sustainability. Commissioned in 2025 by VALOREM, the wind farm has a capacity of 68 GWh/year and supplies electricity equivalent to the needs of 18,000 Greek households.
The event aims to promote well-being, raise environmental awareness and bring the local community together.
Two distances, one great day to trail!
- Vlasti Wind Trail – 21 km
- Vlasti Breeze Trail – 9 km
The races are held under the auspices of HWEA (Hellenic Wind Energy Association) as part of the Global Wind Day celebrations, highlighting the connection between renewable energy and an active outdoor lifestyle.
